Busy Day Makes For QUICK Dinner!

Today I was busy most of the day. Somehow 5:30 rolled around and I hadn't even thought about dinner. I panicked! So, I had to make a hurry-dinner-needs-to-be-ON-the-table-in-thirty-minutes meal.

Then I looked in the fridge. Ooops! I need to go to the grocery store REALLY bad. It would have been so much easier to call Nolan and say, sorry, we need to eat out tonight. But I decided not to spend the money and figure something out.

I had some sausage, pasta noodles, 2 scoops of sour cream, about 1/2 a cup of Luca's left over whole milk, about 1/2 a cup of shredded cheese, parmasan, and of course cilantro. I realized thats all I needed for a great, quick, super easy pasta dish.

So it happened, dinner was being put on the table when my husband walked in. AND, he had no idea it was a last minute super quick meal. He even commented on how good it was. WIN!

Luca helped make dinner by pulling all the pots and pans out and throwing them all over the whole kitchen. He also climbed on every chair and table he could find to get my attention! SUPER HELPFUL!

Santi helped make dinner by pushing over his brother several times until he decided that was
boring and moved on to playing with the fire engine on the table. I approved of the
second part and it was actually very helpful!
Happy weekend! It's supposed to be 61 here tomorrow, in February! I approve wholeheartedly!
