Over the last two years I have learned a trick or two, mainly from trying to fix mistakes. One thing I do every once in a while is, forget to add cooking spray to the pan before baking. I have tried using a knife to cut the bread out, but the bottom always messes up and a chunk or two rips off. Then I read somewhere that you can stick the bread in the freezer. That worked well for getting the bread out, but it was too cold too fast and the bread was a little soggy.
So today, when I made the same darn mistake again because I was in a hurry to pick up Santi from preschool, I tried something new. I filled the sink with a few inches of cold water and stuck the pan in the water for about 2 minutes. Worked like a charm!!! And the best part is that the bread wasn't affected at all!! Homemade bread is the best, but if it's messed up in any way it's such a waste of time and super frustrating!!
Stuck as stuck can be! The Pam was sitting RIGHT next to the pans so I wouldn't forget!
Don't worry! Be happy!!
